Te Reo plays an integral part of learning in Akomanga 16. Our focus for this term is Te Huarere (the weather). As well as focussed te reo sessions, te reo is incorporated into the classroom on a daily basis. Learners have the opportunity to practise their pepeha and each week we also join the rest of the Tōtara team at Kapa Haka.
Welcome to Akomanga 16's blog. We are a class of year 3 and 4 learners at Hamilton East School, New Zealand. Room 16 are developing skills to become life long learners. They will experience opportunities to teach, learn and practise. If you are taking part in distance learning and unable to access seesaw, please see the distance learning tab for activities. You can email me at adent@hameast.school.nz if you have photos to share.
