Self portraits

Last week Room 16 started on their self portrait art. The artist that inspired our portraits is Armedeo Modigliani.

We noticed that Modigliani’s art had certain characteristics and we used these as inspiration for our self-portraits.

These characteristics included:

Long necks.

Narrow heads that are cocked to the side.

Muted colours that are quite saturated.

Simple lines without a lot of detail.

This week we began adding pastel to our portraits faces. They are looking great so far, I can’t wait to see what the finished portraits look like. https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1gZftrLnxdb3oRgl-D_Ratx9jEL_mrM-ghttps://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1QC57F-MyrgkS72LF983jK627ZoVqzvBghttps://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1Y2Bikxn-20jKE-aGBMQFJdLmRHXUsLjw
