Welcome to Akomanga 16

 Kia ora ngā whānau,

Welcome to Room 16! I am so looking forward to getting to know your beautiful children this year. We had a great start yesterday, learning about each other and some of our favourite things. We took a walk around the school and sketched the beautiful oak tree. The learners have already shown how great they are at sketching, using their "look, draw, look" skills.

  1. That sounds like fun. Maybe next time you can sketch the red wood tree or the flakes or even the plum tree.

  2. Do you all know each others names now?
You need to try sketching the gate way. Each time it is different because you get better and better at drawing. Also you can try doing a drawing competition. Put yourselves in teams and draw the gate way. All people do there little bit and at the end put it altogether. Savva & lawrence from rm 10
