Ko wai au? Who am I?

As part of our inquiry unit and focus on Turangawaewae the learners of Room 16 have been making self portraits to be displayed in the classroom. 

Learners sketched themselves using a mirror and then outlined in sharpie. Next they chose two colours to paint with, focusing on long smooth brush strokes. Lastly they added vinyl dots to highlight certain areas.

    Beautiful artwork akomanga 16! You have all used such beautiful and bright colours, you guys should come over to our class to see our artwork. I do wonder how did you get those white and black dots on your beautiful paintings! Riley rm11
