Distance Learning Positive Assembly Week 4

Nature Sculptures.

Learners from Akomanga 19 watched a video about how to turn objects from their backyard into nature sculptures. Their task was to head outside and find natural objects they could use to make a picture of an insect, then one of themselves. Some learners went even further and created sculptures of people in their bubbles.

Distance Learning Positive Assembly Week 3

"Listening"

One of Room 19's Seesaw activities this week was to listen to the poem "Listening" by Peter Bland.

They then had to go outside and sit and listen for a few minutes, then complete their own version of the poem, using both what they heard and what they imagined they could hear. The resulting poems were wonderful.

Poem of the Week

This week our poem was "Changes In The Year". There were some beautiful illustrations done by Room 19 learners.
