Learners from Akomanga 19 watched a video about how to turn objects from their backyard into nature sculptures. Their task was to head outside and find natural objects they could use to make a picture of an insect, then one of themselves. Some learners went even further and created sculptures of people in their bubbles.
Welcome to Akomanga 16's blog. We are a class of year 3 and 4 learners at Hamilton East School, New Zealand. Room 16 are developing skills to become life long learners. They will experience opportunities to teach, learn and practise. If you are taking part in distance learning and unable to access seesaw, please see the distance learning tab for activities. You can email me at adent@hameast.school.nz if you have photos to share.

Thank you very much for your kind comment. What do you think YOU could make with things from nature? We'd love to see what you create - Room 19 learners.
