This week the learners in Room 18 planted seeds as part of our science unit. They spent time brainstorming what the seeds would need to germinate and grow. They then got into groups and decided what information they wanted to be included on the blog. Below are some of their ideas...
Group 1
This is my group planning for planting our seed’s blog.
We had to be in groups of 7.

Our plants need sun and shade to live and don't forget water!

Planting seeds blog
FJD. Different types of seeds. Sun and Water. Paper straws with our names on them. Soil.
LFR. Different Sizes. Take care of them. Not to much sun or Water.
CB. Different shapes.
PW.Different colors.
PHE. Fat seed’s. Small seed’s
JT. Different flowers. To take home and remember Rm18
AMK. put the seed in and cover it with soil
Group 3
Plants need water, sunshine to make them grow bigger. They need air to breathe so they don’t die or we won’t have plants. It needs fertiliser. It needs compost to eat. It needs roots so it doesn’t fall forward.
