Making butter

We’re scientists in room 16 and love learning about new things. This week it was how butter is made and how materials can change state. 

We filled our jars half full with cream and added a pinch of salt. Then we had turns to shake the jars, observing every minute what was happening to the cream in the jars. 

Eventually we had beautiful yellow butter which we enjoyed sampling on some pikelets.
