Cross Country

Yesterday the whole school ran the cross country.

At the starting line when they said go you had to run as fast as you could. Some of us fell over and we got back up again and carried on with our race.  The first six runners to finish, had a photo at the end together.

Some kids from Peachgrove Intermediate School came to cheer us on and be marshals around the course. They helped encourage us to keep running and trying our best! They were very kind and some of them ran with the Year 0's.

Our parents, aunties, uncles, grandparents, siblings and cousins all came to watch us race.

We trained hard and are very proud of our results. We were tired after our races. Thank you for coming to support us.

The first three for each race will get certificates in Positive Assembly in week 6- 31st of August.

  1. What a wonderful record of your cross country day, Room 19. I am so glad that our students from Peachgrove Intermediate were helpful and encouraging. We were so impressed by all of the Hamilton East students - you all tried so hard, ran so well - and I think had a bit of fun too.
